Male (31) seeking apartment in Amsterdam

I'm a postdoc at the UvA from Canada. I’m working in the media studies department and I work from campus, so don’t need to be able to work from home or anything. My monthly gross is 3500 and netto 2800. I have all the required documents available and can move in as soon as possible. I value a quiet, calm, and clean home environment. Back in Canada I built much of my own furniture and am handy / capable of decent house fixing-up, and I’m just looking for somewhere longer term as I do my postdoc and transition to a larger role at the UvA. My current accommodations don’t have a great kitchen and I miss cooking. Otherwise I enjoy going to music shows and dining out.
